Fleet Analysis and Reporting (FARS)

The Fleet Analysis and Reporting (FARS) program manages the state's vehicle and mobile equipment fleet by:

 

Vehicle Polices
Developing and implementing policies for the purchase, lease, replacement, use, maintenance and disposal of state vehicles
Fleet Efficiency
Conducting fleet efficiency studies and making recommendations to management, the administration and legislature on measures that lower fleet costs, deliver petroleum reductions and protect the environment
Alternative Fuels Vehicle program
Researching and analyzing the availability of alternative fuels and vehicles
Approved Vendor program
Administering the Certified Small Business (DVBE) Repair/Service Vendor program
Vehicle Acquisitions
Managing vehicle acquisitions for all state agencies.
