Important Notice

San Diego Gas & Electric has announced that power to the San Diego State Office Building (1350 Front Street) will be shut down at 8:00 p.m. on September 2, 2014 for up to 10 hours.  From 5:00 p.m. until at least 8:00 a.m. September 3, the San Diego OAH fax machine [(619) 525-4419] will not be working. 

An alternative fax number for San Diego OAH is (916) 375-6325.  Filings may also be submitted to San Diego OAH by email to SanFilings@dgs.ca.gov

    The Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) is a quasi-judicial tribunal that hears administrative disputes. OAH is divided into two, statewide divisions: General Jurisdiction Division and the Special Education Division.

    Pen. Code, § 71

    It is a criminal offense to threaten a public official which includes administrative law judges and the staff at the Office of Administrative Hearings (Pen. Code, § 71.) Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
