About General Jurisdiction Division

The Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) provides hearings, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution services to State and local governmental entities. The majority of hearings conducted are governed by the Administrative Procedure Act (APA); all other hearings, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution services are provided as a result of interagency agreements, using the statutory and regulatory authority of the department, agency or local entity.
