Under the direction of the State and Consumers Services Agency and in accordance with Executive Order D-15-00, the Department of General Services (DGS) has been given the responsibility to develop an Energy Emergency Communication Plan for state government.
When the CAISO declares an Electrical Emergency, DGS will notify all departments, universities, and community colleges and provide appropriate conservation information and actions to be taken as outlined in the Electrical Emergency Procedures referenced in Management Memo 05-14. |
