DSA Performance Metrics
The Division of the State Architect is developing performance metrics to provide process transparency and allow us to quickly and accurately identify and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Please note that the performance statistics currently being reported are for a sample of the plan review workload. The performance statistics will continue to be expanded to cover the entire workload that the DSA is responsible for doing from the time that each project is submitted to the DSA through the final certification by the DSA that the project constructed is code compliant, including performance statistics on the plan review work associated with change documents, deferred approvals, addenda, and plan revisions that is done during the construction phase of the projects.
Plan Review Finish
The Division of the State Architect has developed reports to measure the division’s success at meeting anticipated plan review finish dates. Please note that anticipated plan review finish dates may change during the plan review process due to other priorities.
Bin Status Reports
This section contains reports identifying bin times for each regional office, reports identifying the number of projects in the bin and aging reports.
Plan Review Scorecard - Projects Approved/Stamped Out
This report is for approved/stamped out projects received from July 1, 2009 through April 30, 2013. On the Scorecard tab, enter the region and application number to display a graph of processing days for each phase of your project. On the Metrics Summary tab, this report also identifies the average processing times for various size projects. This information is updated on a monthly basis.
Plan Review Status
This report is for projects currently in progress or under review received from July 1, 2009 through April 30, 2013. On the Scorecard tab, enter the region and application number to display a graph of processing days for each phase of your project. This scorecard also displays the phase of the project or if it is “under review” and requires additional research. On the Metrics Summary tab, this report also identifies the average processing times for various size projects. This information is updated on a monthly basis.
Supplemental Report of the 2010 Budget Act
Pursuant to the requirements of the Supplemental Report of the 2010 Budget Act, Item Number 1760-001-0328, the Department of General Services/Division of the State Architect (DGS/DSA) has prepared the following monthly reporting for all school and community college construction plans received by the DGS/DSA as of March 31, 2012.
Action Plan Status Reports
These reports identify the status of the 285 projects that were in the bin as of January 21, 2010.
