DGS University is the training arm of the Department of General Services.  We are dedicated  to providing quality training to both our internal and external customers. The services we provide are two-fold:

    Statewide Training

    DGS offers training to other state agencies and applicable non-state entities and individuals in the following areas:
      CalPCA - The California Procurement & Contracting Academy (Cal-PCA) provides professional development courses and workshops for state acquisition specialists, to instill essential knowledge and improve the state's contracting processes.

    • DSA Academy (State Architect) - The DSA Academy offers classes that promote consistent knowledge and application of the California Building Codes (CBC) as well as regulations needed for successful plan review, and construction of projects under DSA’s jurisdiction.

    • Health & Safety - The Office of Risk & Insurance Management (ORIM) provides health and safety training to other agencies.  Please expand the "Health & Safety" ribbon to view the details.
