The Department of General Services today announced that three administrative law judges (ALJ) have recently joined the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) in Oakland, San Diego and Los Angeles.

Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) Administrative Law Judge Dannette “Dee” Brown has been selected by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) for a Trailblazers Award—a national honor that recognizes the outstanding achievements, commitment, and leadership of lawyers who have paved the way for the advancement of other Asian Pacific American attorneys. 

The DGS “Excellence in the Business of Government” video series now features the Office of Administrative Hearings, an independent state agency that resolves disputes between individuals and government agencies.

Governor Brown has appointed Linda Cabatic as Director & Chief Administrative Law Judge for the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH).

Linda brings a wealth of experience to OAH where she has been Acting Director since August of last year. Linda was appointed as OAH Deputy Director in June 2008.  Prior to her appointment at OAH, she was the Chief Counsel and Deputy Director for the Office of Legal Services for DGS, where she advised the Director and executive staff on many legal issues.

The Office of Administrative Hearings recently announced the addition of some new Administrative Law Judges at its offices throughout the state.

Glynda Gomez and Deena Ghaly are new to the Los Angeles offices of OAH, Marian H. Tully is new to the Van Nuys office, and Kirk Miller and Jill Schlichtmann are new to the Oakland office.
