The Department of General Services Procurement Division’s California Procurement & Contracting Academy (Cal-PCA) is just a mouse click away!
In addition to the traditional training setting, DGS now offers state agencies the option of the virtual classroom at no-cost. Benefits to state departments include more convenient scheduling and decreased travel expense.
Cal-PCA provides professional development courses and workshops for state agency acquisition specialists to instill essential knowledge about state procurement policies and laws, and to improve the state's contracting processes. Graduates receive certificates that may be required for their department's delegated purchasing authority.
