DGS held one of its regularly scheduled state surplus property auctions at its Sacramento warehouse on December 3, 2011. Several hundred members of the public attended the auction which resulted in the sale of 918 out of 928 lots of surplus property ranging from surplus cellular phones and computers to office furniture and items confiscated by the federal Transportation Safety Authority at various California airports.Total sales at the December auction totaled nearly $120,000.
