In a continuing effort to enhance communication with all DGS employees, as well as our department’s many client-agencies, the DGS Executive Office, through the Office of Public Affairs, has created the DGS NewsWire which will post online content about DGS programs, accomplishments and activities that are of interest to both internal and external audiences.

The DGS NewsWire was designed through a cooperative effort between the DGS Office of State Publishing and the DGS Office of Technology Resources. 

DGS acts as the business manager for the state of California. DGS helps state government better serve the public by providing services to state agencies including procurement and acquisition solutions, real estate management, leasing and design services, environmentally friendly transportation, and architectural oversight and funding for the construction of safe schools
