More than 600 Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) firms attended the two-day event where they connected with DGS and ten other state departments to learn how to find and compete for state contracting opportunities, as well as the advantages of being a state-certified business.

State-certified DVBEs are eligible for the state's DVBE participation program, which sets a goal of using DVBEs in at least three percent of the state's overall annual contract dollars.
