BROADWAY BUILDING FACT SHEET
SCOPE:
Existing building has been rehabilitated for modern offices and brought up to current earthquake safety standards.
  
PROGRAM:
Consolidates 12 state agencies from throughout the Los Angeles Basin. 
 
LOCATION:
320 West Fourth Street, Los Angeles
 
HISTORY:
Italian Neo-Classic design. Constructed in 1914 with an exterior of terra cotta and glazed brick. Vacant since 1973. A project to convert to an office building was begun in 1985 but halted midway through.
 
SIZE:
550,000 gross square feet, 303,000 usable net square feet.
